An accomplished entrepreneur and franchise owner with multiple businesses, Cody Lovins has owned and operated multiple Sports Clips throughout the Houston, Texas, area since 2005. Over the course of two decades, he has expanded his portfolio to include 15 hair care locations. During his time leading the Sports Clips stores, Cody Lovins has received several growth and sales awards within the franchise system, including inclusion in the Presidents Club and Chairmans Club.
In 2020, Cody Lovins expanded his business activities by joining the Dogtopia family, a leading national provider of dog daycare, grooming, and boarding services. He oversees operations at three Dogtopia locations in and around Houston. Since acquiring his first Dogtopia store, he has achieved 40 percent year-over-year sales growth.
Cody Lovins holds a master of science in geological engineering from the University of Science and Technology in Rolla. He is a member of the Society of Professional Engineers, as well as various community and philanthropic groups, including the Boy Scouts of America and the Cystic Fibrosis International Franchise Association. His interests include flying airplanes, collecting cars, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
